When wood sets the tone

With the aim of planning a publicly funded building according to sustainable criteria, Jones Architecture designed the C. Gerald Lucey Building for the Department of Unemployment Assistance in Brockton.

A crucial part of this is the three-story cross-laminated timber construction. To use the warm character of the wood for the aesthetic effect of the building, the architects left the structure as visible as possible. Appropriately, they decided to partially use the insulating glass with a wooden grid OKAWOOD for the large rows of windows.
