Different learning environments and lots of glass make up the Alexander Graham Bell Centre. One of the reasons for the decision to create a glazed third floor was to reduce the mass of the building and to adapt it to the dimensions of the surrounding buildings. In this way, the architects skillfully set the so-called Life Science Centre in dialogue with the listed Victorian building opposite.
Our light-diffusing 2-pane insulating glass OKALUX+ sensures uniform and shadow-free illumination with daylight deep into the room and at the same time optimizes thermal insulation. In addition, it creates variety in the facade design, because the capillary plate in the space between the panes creates a lively surface with a depth effect.
