SILVERSTAR ALARM

SILVERSTAR ALARM is an insulating glass with integrated alarm function. Connected to an alarm system, the alarm is triggered by the slightest intrusion.

With SILVERSTAR CONTROL, a blind integrated into the space between the panes allows the intake of sunlight to be adjusted by remote control. The slats are controlled by an electric motor integrated in the header profile of the window, which is controlled by a miniature control unit or an app. The motors are extremely quiet and reliable.

SILVERSTAR SUPERSELEKT coatings combine the best sun and heat protection with a particularly high level of transparency which allows a great deal of natural light into the room. These seemingly contradictory properties are demonstrated by the selectivity index. Our SUPERSELEKT coatings achieve peak ratings in this regard. With a very low total energy transmission figure, a selectivity index of up to 2.5 is achieved. As a result, the costs of artificial lighting and air conditioning in the summer can be substantially reduced. The colourless appearance and transparency of this glass allows planners great freedom

We have been using the silicone-based ACSplus (Anti Condensation System) insulation edge seal system for many years as a standard system. It guarantees a high-quality “warm edge” on all SILVERSTAR insulated glass products.

A versatile venue

At the beginning of 2024 a new building was introduced to St. Gallen: the Kantonalbank Hall. Designed by Ilg Santer Architekten and built to meet the infrastructural requirements of the popular trade fair location, it impresses with its straightforward and spacious design.

A sculptural centre

The recently opened SWR Studio in Mannheim is a central media centre for the region. It is designed with a striking sculptural cubature that characterises a variety of interior and exterior spaces. The inviting entrance areas and the ‘city balcony’ with a view of the river create a seamless connection to the surrounding residential neighbourhood.

Energy efficiency for a mid-century school building

With the combination of yellow clinker brick and numerous windows on a gray façade, the Stegmatt school complex in Lyss, built at the end of the 1950s, still impresses with a friendly modern appearance.
