SILVERSTAR SELEKT 74/42 double glazing for all four seasons

| Glas Trösch | Reference

Unconventional façades and architectural highlights have long made the former automotive engineering district between Männedorf and Uetikon stand out visually.

Located over several thousand square metres, there are also exhibition centres and warehouses with nobbly or wavy façades and façades resembling pappardelle pasta alongside the eponymous Bruno Bischofberger art gallery. He is considered a pioneer of American art in Europe and was closely associated with Andy Warhol and Yves Klein.

To expand the gallery, the Zurich-based architecture firm Baier Bischofberger designed a 16-metre long skyway. The footbridge now connects two parts of the building at a height of 12 metres, combining an innovative steel support structure with modern glass and metal cladding.

Our SILVERSTAR SELEKT 74/42 double glazing for all four seasons combines thermal insulation with sun protection and creates a pleasant indoor climate. SWISSLAMEX DECO laminated safety glass with a screen-printed grid of dots manages the sunlight without impeding visibility. Heat-strengthened EUROWHITE safety glass increases its mechanical resistance and its thermal shock resistance steels the skyway against the weather and other external influences. With EUROWHITE NG as its basic glass, visibility remains clear, while the coating ensures high energy efficiency.
