Fire-resistant butt joint glazing enables barrier-free views wherever standard sizes are not sufficient. The FIRESWISS butt joint solution also scores highly in terms of aesthetics with its extremely delicate appearance. Laminated with innovative thermo-transformation layers (TTS), the glass completely absorbs radiant heat in the event of a fire, achieving a fire rating of EI. The layers then form a solid, tough foam sheet to which the fragments of the fireside float glass adhere.
