A view to remember

| Glas Trösch | Reference

At an altitude of over 2,140 meters, the Motta Hütte in Scuol pays homage to the classic alpine building style while introducing a contemporary interpretation of form and function.

A defining feature is the open timber structure, which serves as both a load-bearing element and a striking architectural statement, creating a perfect transition between interior and exterior.

Large arched windows and a glass façade allow breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps while ensuring excellent thermal performance. This is made possible by a high-performance triple insulating glass that enhances both energy efficiency and aesthetics. In combination with a SILVERSTAR COMBI Grey 60 t and a SILVERSTAR EN2plus coating, it provides outstanding thermal insulation – essential for a building exposed to the harsh winter conditions of the Alps.

  • Building Type Hotel / Gastronomy Building
