The building houses a gin distillery, a confectionery store, and a bicycle store, among others.
A low total energy transmittance helps maintain a balanced temperature level in summer and winter. This also helps to reduce the building's energy consumption by saving heating and cooling energy.
The building, which is in keeping with zeitgeist of flexibility, was awarded the "Prize for Good Buildings of the City of Zurich".
