The forward-thinking concept was designed by DÜRIG AG and implemented by uas, Unternehmen für Architektur und Städtebau AG. In order to create short distances and a clear structure, the bus depot was deliberately placed at ground level. A successful example of how sensible architecture not only saves space, but also enriches the cityscape.
A distinctive feature of the building is its glass design. The glass used is equipped with the SILVERSTAR TRIII E thermal insulation coating, ensuring high thermal insulation while allowing ample light transmission. This creates an open and bright atmosphere in the rooms. For the façade design, our single-pane safety glass was used and refined with a screen-printing process. This results in a unique building envelope that makes the structure appear dynamic and inviting despite its size.
