The municipal library, which was intended to serve as a place for cultural participation and social encounters, is characterized by light-flooded and spacious working and lounge areas.
The partial use of OKAWOOD Timber Grid as façade glass not only provides directionally selective sun and glare protection, but also creates areas that are protected from view. Thus, the hustle and bustle of the street does not disturb the concentration and warmly tinted daylight can still enter. This is ensured by a filigree wood grid made of White Seraya in the space between the panes.
