Since 2016, Irvine's historic town hall - a town landmark dating back to 1862 - has been restored to its full glory. With the new sports and leisure centre, Sussex-based LA architects have created a remarkable architectural contrast to the neighbouring renovated and reconstructed town house, which was built in 1862.
