Connecting campus

| OKALUX | Reference

According to a masterplan by Baker Design Group the former semiconductor manufacturing facility of Analog Devices in Wilmington, Massachusettes, was transformed into a modern headquarter.

To reduce distances on the campus and encourage interaction, new buildings were added to the existing ones, which were relatively far apart. Part of this thought is also the newly built Community Hub, which connects the old properties with the new office and laboratory building via a pedestrian bridge. Thanks to the use of OKATECH Expanded Metal, the bridge provides a view of the campus landscape. The aluminum inserts are not only attractive elements of design but also function as direction-selective daylight systems and ensure effective sun and glare-protection.
