Where Limmattal city train stops

| Glas Trösch | Reference

In the future, the 13.5 km long Limmattal city train will provide the connection between the conurbations of Aargau and Zurich.

The line is lined with 27 stops, which the architects 10:8 developed as a modular system. A construction consisting of five striking components: a prefabricated concrete element, a long wooden bench, slender steel supports, a steel roof and a windbreak made of our laminated safety glass SWISSLAMEX COLORPRINT CP, which not only protects against wind but also prevents birds from colliding thanks to the printed pattern. The multi-layer application of the print creates a three-dimensional structure that gives the glass a curtain-like appearance that is not obtrusive, but still has recognition value. The final stages of the track are due to be completed by the end of 2022 so that the runway can be launched.
