At the Ravensburger Ring Elementary School in Munich, every aspect, including the façade, has been carefully thought through to meet the needs of the students* and provide them with an exceptional learning experience.

Designed by Schwinde Architekten to the latest standards for environmentally friendly materials, the complex includes two four-story classrooms, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium with adjacent outdoor spaces, all of which are wheelchair accessible.

In designing the building envelope, the designers relied on complex glazing from Glas Trösch, which was installed by Neumayr High-Tech Fassaden. Triple insulating glass was used, which was designed as LSG on the outer panes in each case, thus ensuring maximum safety for the floor-to-ceiling windows. The SILVERSTAR COMBI Neutral 61/32 and EN2plus coatings sustainably reduce energy costs and ensure a balanced feel-good climate all year round. The low g-value of 30 and Ug-values between 0.5 and 0.6 impressively prove this. Thanks to a light transmission of around 54 percent, sufficient natural light nevertheless enters the interior at all times.
