As part of the renovation, architects Baulink AG added a glass cube to the 1827 building for festive occasions. The extension offers up to 500 seats and is thus the ideal place for large events.

Generous glass fronts offer views of the Swiss Alpine panorama. In search of a solution that minimizes bird strike, the architects decided to honor the breathtaking view with a stylized gentian in white as a digitally printed special BIRDPROTECT motif.
