The Glas Trösch Group attaches great importance to constantly reducing the CO2 emissions caused by our production. This can be achieved, for example, through the use of green electricity, through energy recovery, through increasingly efficient technologies and through the increasing use of glass shards in glass production. In doing so, we have ourselves audited and certified by independent institutions.
In addition to the appropriate ISO certifications, this also includes the label “CO2 & kWh reduced” from the Energy Agency of the Swiss Private Sector (EnAW). The Agency was founded in 2001 by leading associations within the Swiss private sector. It advocates collaboration between the public and private sector in the name of energy and climate-related goals. Its main focus is the continual reduction of CO2 emissions in Switzerland. The companies of the Glas Trösch Group are committed as members to achieving these targets.
