Proven duet: color and daylight

| OKALUX | Reference

Designed by architects Kennedy Fitzgerald, the Falls Leisure Centre in Belfast stands out.

In the midst of a neighborhood built with predominantly red brick facades, colorful exterior glazing with OKACOLOR adds an urban accent. While the building is convincing in pastel shades in daylight, it also functions as a luminous landmark in the dark. At night, on the other hand, the color scheme of the roof tops with OKALUX insulating glass changes to strong purple and red, and the OKACOLOR façade shines in white and mint.

In both of the glass solutions used, capillary tubes in the space between the panes ensure maximum daylight in the interior spaces, which accommodate various sporting activities. Good thermal insulation additionally contributes to a reduction in energy consumption.
