Daylight in use

| OKALUX | Reference

Architect Daniel Libeskind is known for his expressive designs – the Kö-Bogen building ensemble is no exception. Built in Düsseldorf, the commercial and office building is characterized in particular by its striking façade made of glass and white natural stone, which is broken up with diagonal cuts.

Three Okalux products were used in the striking building ensemble to ensure optimum use of daylight and energy efficiency:

  • OKASOLAR S: Designed for overhead glazing, this daylight system offers effective directional solar shading while maximizing daylight penetration.
  • OKASOLAR W: A robust daylight system for façades, featuring fixed louvers in the cavity that direct daylight deep into the interior, providing superior sun and glare protection.
  • OKATHERM: A flexible insulating glass that can be tailored to various design needs, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
  • Building Type Shopping Mall / Office Building
  • Application Façade, Roof
  • Product OKASOLAR W, OKASOLAR S, OKATHERM
  • Location Dusseldorf, Germany
