Architectural lightning with BGT Bischoff Glastechnik

| BGT | Reference

Just a few minutes' walk from Alexanderplatz, you'll find the VoltAir Berlin – a first-class commercial property with a dynamic architecture.

Designed by J. MAYER H. architects the vertical development and interactive spaces not only encourage collaboration, but also create an inspiring atmosphere for new ways of working. The most striking feature of the building is undoubtedly its glass façade, through which a common floor runs like lightning. Approximately 3,500 sqm of insulating glass and 6,500 sqm of safety glass by our trusted subsidiary BGT Bischoff Glastechnik GmbH have been seamlessly integrated here using an advanced structural glazing method in which the glass components are bonded rather than screwed.

The insulating glass prevents excessive heating of the interior, while at the same time maintaining high light transmission. The temperature-resistant laminated safety glass is not only impact and bending resistant, but also achieves impressive sound insulation values, particularly relevant in the lively neighborhood.
