A luminous hub for transit

| BGT | Reference

Located in the heart of New York City, Moynihan Train Hall is an architectural blend of historic essence and modernity.

Inspired by the venerable Penn Station, this landmark breathes new life into the historic James A. Farley Post Office, transforming it into a shining hub for 21st century transportation. The expansive, light-filled interior of the concourse, crowned by an impressive glass dome, transcends its role as a thoroughfare and becomes a tribute to the dynamic spirit and architectural beauty of New York. We are proud that our subsidiary BGT Bischoff Glastechnik supplied the insulating glass for this project, contributing to an epochal construction project led by the renowned firm Skidmore, Owings & Merril LLP.
